Dr. Neil Hutto was raised in Barnwell, South Carolina. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of South Carolina at Aiken and is a 2006 graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s School of Optometry.

Dr. Hutto joined Triad Eye Associates in September 2006 and is a member of the American Optometric Association, the North Carolina State Optometric Society, as well as the Greensboro and Winston-Salem District Optometric Societies. Dr. Hutto serves patients at all 3 Triad Eye locations–Archdale, High Point, and Greensboro.

Dr. Hutto performs pediatric eye exams, diabetic, glaucoma, and cataract evaluations, as well as routine annual examinations. He is married to Dr. Stacey Hutto, who joined Triad Eye Associates in August 2012, and they have a son, Will.

Dr. Stacey Singletary Hutto is a North Carolina native. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2001. She received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2005.

Dr. Hutto has been practicing in the Triad area since 2005 and joined Triad Eye Associates in 2012. She serves patients at the Greensboro and High Point locations.

Dr. Hutto is a member of the American Optometric Association, the North Carolina State Optometric Society, as well as the Greensboro District Optometric Society.


Her interests at Triad Eye Associates include primary eye care, treatment of eye infections and injuries, and contact lens fittings and evaluations.

Dr. Hutto is married to fellow optometrist Dr. Neil Hutto, and they are proud parents to their son, Will.

Dr. Kimberly Orr is a compassionate, energetic, and detail-oriented optometrist who is passionate about helping patients achieve clearer vision and enhanced quality of life. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from NC State University in 2010 with a degree in biological sciences, along with minors in Spanish and nutrition science. Dr. Orr earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in 2014, graduating with Cum Laude honors. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honour society and was involved in organizations such as the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists.

Dr. Orr has a particular interest in myopia control for adolescent patients and enjoys working with multifocal contact lenses. She finds it especially fulfilling to introduce patients to the world of contact lenses for the first time, witnessing the joy they experience when they no longer need glasses. Her expertise also extends to primary care optometry, and she is dedicated to helping patients navigate their day-to-day activities with greater ease and clearer vision.

Dr. Orr is actively involved in her professional community as a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the North Carolina Optometric Society (NCOS), and the Triad Optometric Society. She serves as the NCOS Professional Education Trustee and is a former Third Party Trustee for NCOS. She was also selected as a 2024 Change Agent for the Myopia Collective and graduated from the AOA Leadership Institute in 2022.

Dr. Rick Gilliam grew up in Burlington, North Carolina. He attended Appalachian State University before completing his professional degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Dr. Gilliam began his private practice in 1982 and has been serving patients in Archdale since 1983. In 2005, Triad Eye Associates opened a second office in High Point, followed by a third office in Northwest Greensboro in 2010. Dr. Gilliam is a 25-plus-year member of the American Optometric Association, the North Carolina State Optometric Society, and the Triad Optometric Society.

Dr. Gilliam has completed the state society’s glaucoma tract and has taken classes for pre- and post-operative surgical management. He is a former district president of the Triad Optometric Society and trustee for the State Optometric Society. Dr. Gilliam and his wife, Lisa, have 2 children, Kelsey and Zack, and they live in Willow Creek.

Dr. Cathy Fulp is from Clemson, South Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Clemson University and graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 1990. Dr. Fulp performs diabetic eye exams, cataract and glaucoma evaluations, and routine exams, including contact lens fittings of all types. Since joining Triad Eye Associates in 2005, she has developed a special interest in working with children and making their early encounters with eye care positive experiences.

Dr. Fulp practices in Archdale and High Point. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the North Carolina Optometric Society, and the Winston-Salem District Optometric Society. Dr. Fulp is married to Walter and has 2 children.

Dr. Ryan Snipes grew up in Kinston, NC where he graduated valedictorian of his high school class. He attended Campbell University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry.

Dr. Snipes earned is Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in 2001, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors and completed his pathology rotation with the VA health system.

Dr. Snipes has been practicing since 2001 and joined Triad Eye Associates in 2024. When not working and not spending time with his wife and two children, Dr. Snipes enjoys any outdoor activity.

Dr. Mitchell Evans, OD, is a passionate optometrist with a keen interest in learning, solving mysteries, and building meaningful connections with his patients. He graduated magna cum laude from Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University in 2024, earning his Doctor of Optometry degree. During his time there, he was awarded the VSP Practice Excellence Scholarship and the Eschenbach Low Vision Student Award.

Dr. Evans holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences with minors in biology and psychology from Liberty University, where he graduated in 2020. His diverse medical background is further enriched by valuable experiences working at the Salt Lake VA Hospital in Utah, the Lawton Indian Hospital in Oklahoma, and the Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital in Arizona.

With a deep commitment to providing comprehensive eye care, Dr. Evans enjoys treating a wide variety of eye diseases and helping patients achieve improved vision and overall health. Outside of his medical practice, he enjoys hearing stories, meeting new people, and engaging in continuous learning.
